How to order products from String King
Products can be ordered from String King in several ways:
For the best service and most accurate order filling, it is best to send orders through the web shop. If you need advice or if the order is a large one, you can contact us by e-mail.
HOW TO PAY

You can pay with Visa / MasterCard and Diners cards safely over internet directly after order. Your payment is send via CertiTrade with secure encrypting and according to the strictest card association standards. Your card information is sent directly to the bank and cannot be read by anyone else. No extra charges apply for card payment. |

If you don't have a credit card or don't want to use one, you can use PayPal which will take payment out of your checking account. You will be redirected to PayPal where you can log into your account and pay directly. The mail address for a possible separate payment is store@stringking.net. You can transfer money to our Euro Account in Sweden.
If you live in Sweden, Denmark, Norway or Poland it is possible to transfer the payment to the local currency bank account – for more information see under ABOUT US.
Please note that we don't send strings out with a bill for later payment.
Payment needs to accompany the order. We can make exceptions for existing customers in emergency situations.
DISCOUNTS
Size of the order (excluding postal charges):
- over € 150 incl. VAT - 5%
- over € 300 incl. VAT - 10%
- over € 500 incl. VAT - 15%
Student discounts
Students can get 10% discount. If you are a student, please create an account in our shop and send us a message at info@stringking.net asking for the student status, together with a scan of your student card.
We will soon register you as a student for the current school year. Next time you log in to the shop you will automatically receive 10% student discount.
You can combine the student discount with the amount discount. That means: if you order for minimum 150 € you will receive additional 5% discount etc.
TAX-FREE SALES
CUSTORMERS OUTSIDE THE EUROPEAN UNION AND COMPANIES WITH EUROPEAN VAT-NUMBER DO NOT HAVE TO PAY SWEDISH VAT-TAX.
If you pay by the bank transfer, the best way to procede is to create your shop account by clicking on Register now! and later sending an e-mail to info@stringking.net, asking for a Tax-free status. Soon you’ll receive our confirmation of your Tax-free-status. Next time you’ll log-in to your account you’ll see all the prices decreased by 20% (although they are still shown as "incl. VAT"!!!).
If you pay with credit card – we will refund the VAT-amount to your card account and register you as the Tax-free customer for the future.
If you pay via PayPal account - we will refund the VAT-amount to your PayPal account and register you as the Tax-free customer for the future.
Timely Order filling
Orders received at String King are usually filled and shipped within 1 - 2 business days after the payment is received. Within Europe it takes usually 2-3 days to receive your order. Outside of Europe it may take few extra days. If the order is a large or complicated one, involving ordering some unusual strings, it may take longer. If the time before shipping is estimated to be longer than 5 business days, we will contact you with an estimated shipping date. Please make note of any special messages on the front page of the String King shop before ordering.
Shipping Charges
There is a single charge for sending strings and small products (like the violin pad) in Europe – 2 €. Sending of other products (like bows, string stretcher), which require special packaging will be charged at the actual postal rates. The price of instrument caces includes cost of shipment but you must add the possible cost of customs duty if you are living outside the European Union.
Return Policy
Please return faulty strings in original packing within seven days of delivery for replacement or a credit on your next order.
Unused and used, but faulty products and strings in original packing may be returned within 7 days of delivery for products may be returned for store credit which can be applied to future orders. String King does not reimburse for the return shipping expenses and all of those costs will be paid by the customer. Credit will be issued to the customer with 3 business days of String King receiving the returned goods
Privacy
String King’s Privacy Policy Statement
String King is committed to providing quality information and products to the musical community. In order complete this mission and serve our clients, we will have to find out a little about you and your instrument. For the purposes of data protection, stringking.net is the internet publishing platform for String King. The web site is hosted in Poland. String King/Gabriel Musik has a sole proprietorship and is wholly owned by Gabriel Bania, Göteborg/Sweden who is completely responsible for all content.
What information do we collect?
When you come to visit our web site, www.stringking.net, we do not collect any information from you pertaining to your visit. Our server does register the number of hits each page on the site receives, but this is done completely anonymously and no attempt is made by the site to collect user data. When this information is collected you have a choice to create an account on the website, or not. If you decided to create an account, all of the personal information you put in will be stored on a secured server. This information will be recalled on subsequent visits to the web site to make your purchase and checkout faster. If you decide not to create an account, you can make a purchase by filling out the forms which will be sent to String King over a secured server, but the information will not be retained on the server.
Cookies
We use to recall the information stored in your web-store account, provided you have created an account in the web store. This cookie information is used only to retain information pertaining to your account. Other than that, we do not use cookies to track your visit to the web site, or otherwise gather information on your visit to the site.
What about the information requested?
Please note if you decide to utilize the String King shop and order strings through the web site we will need to collect personal information so that the strings can be billed, paid for, and sent to you correctly. This information includes your name, address, phone number, e-mail address, and credit card information. This is information that we use to communicate with you concerning your order.
String King’s e-mailing list
String King maintains a list of e-mail addresses of customers. This is used to occasionally send informational messages and special offers to our existing customers. These messages contain news or other information about String King’s products such as strings, accessories and instruments. If you receive one of these messages and wish to be removed from our list for subsequent mailings, you can unsubscribe and your name all be taken off the list. Unsubscribe instructions are sent with every message.
This list and your e-mail information is never passed onto any other party for any reason and the addresses are stored in a list with no other data, such as a name, associated with it.
Your privacy is important to us
We strive to do everything we can to protect the privacy of our users. We do not sell or exchange any information with any third parties.
From time to time, we may use customer information for new, unanticipated uses not previously disclosed in our privacy notice. If our information practices change at some time in the future we will post the policy changes on our website to notify you of these changes and provide you with the ability to opt out of these new uses. If you are concerned about how your information is used, we recommend that you review this Privacy Statement periodically, String King may update it from time to time.
